If it were the 4th Notts don’t start until 7pm - no issue either way.
PS had to check as I was also under the impression that season started on the 4th.

I thought the transfer window will be closed prior to the season starting; if it is, the season must start on the 11th as the window closes on the 9th at 5pm

According to EFL official site the opening weekend is 4th August. Transfer window closes 9th August in time for EPL kick off.
