Who do you think City will play first game of the season? And if you could pick the order of the teams we play, who would you choose?

I think we will play Accrington away.

I would pick Derby at home.
 
Fingers crossed we play Derby early doors.

Not too fussed about anything else.

Although a home game or local away game on Boxing Day would be marvellous.
 
We are due a home game on the first day which will mean an away trip to the farthest flung ground so I think domski probably has that nailed on.

I just hope for fewer midweek home games as they are difficult to get to from my distance away and that at the very least Portsmouth at home is on a Saturday for a change

Get 3 points early in the season then lose them when they go belly up. They appear to be hanging on by the thinest of threads.
 
Might be selective memory but I don’t recall ever starting a season with what you might term a high profile fixture.

To both Oxford 1962, and Cambridge 1970 we were the opposition to their first ever home games in the Football League, lost 1 - 2 , drew 1-1
