EFL sides will discover their fixtures for next season on Thursday, June 20, at 9am.

Their opening fixture is likely to be on Saturday, August 3, but there will likely be a live TV game the previous day.

All 72 EFL Clubs from the Sky Bet Championship, League One and League Two will be able to plan their respective campaigns from the release date.

Round One in the Carabao Cup is to take place in the week commencing August 12.

Wembley will play host to the Carabao Cup Final on Sunday March 1, 2020, in what will be the first of five Finals in the EFL calendar, whilst the EFL Trophy Final is to take place the following month on Sunday April 5.

The season-ending Sky Bet EFL play-offs will once again be staged at Wembley Stadium, this time across two weekends in May.

The League Two Final will start proceedings on Saturday May 16, before League One and the Championship take centre stage the following weekend on Sunday May 24 and Monday May 25, respectively.

The scheduling of the respective play-off Finals is due to a busy period in the football calendar, with Wembley Stadium also hosting fixtures at Euro 2020, including the semi-finals and final.

First time in 20 years that ourselves and Nott's fixtures come out on different days

Home first and last is fine by me. Someone like Huddersfield would be good. Preferably not bloody Milwall or Barnsley but not really bothered either way.

Quite an early start to the season this year

Ive been up since 6 waiting for 9

I just hope that whoever posts the fixtures first, does it on here and NOT on HIS thread x

We did alright against both West Brom and Leeds last season, so nothing to be overly concerned about against those two sides in August.

Fixtures released, now all we need is a team to play in them.

Looking forward to pricking that “Leeds are going up this year” bubble early doors though.

West Brom fixture is an interesting one. Certainly unpredictable.

They have a new manager and are starting to sell but at present they don’t have a proper goal scorer assuming Rondon is one of the many departures.

On the face of it MoN could be out of a job by October but let’s see what the squad looks like first and how he gets the team playing in pre-season.
