Fixture changes 2017/18

Colin Is The King

Alert Team
The Arsenal game at home, already changed to Sunday the 5th of November due to their EL game the previous Thursday, will kick off at 2.15pm, and is covered by Sky.

Huddersfield away has been changed to Sunday the 26th of November, kick off 4pm, and is also covered by Sky.

:026: Thanks for the heads up

Could be an appropriate date for the Arsenal game if the Sanchez move comes off

West Ham 3rd December, 4pm, Sky

United 10th December, 4.30pm, Sky

Swansea 13th December, no TV, switched back a day due to the derby

Spurs 16th December, 5.30pm, BT Sport

Newcastle 27th December, 7.45pm, Sky

Crystal Palace, 31st December, 12 noon, BT Sport

At least the derby being pushed back a day gives more time for the players to recover from the trip to the Ukraine. If we get things right, qualification for the round of 16 will have been sorted before then and we may be able to rest a few senior first picks for that game.

City 'away' down London on New years Eve - how is any City fan going to get home on that day???????????????????????????? great planning for the fans. Thank you very much

City 'away' down London on New years Eve - how is any City fan going to get home on that day???????????????????????????? great planning for the fans. Thank you very much

Latest in their bag of tricks trying to suppress the away support after the first four away league fixtures were all either on the south coast. London or the edge of London.

It won't work.

Kevin Parker, general secretary of the Manchester City Supporters' Club, is unimpressed by the decision to move the away game against Palace to New Year’s Eve :-

"To say I am upset by these changes is an understatement.

"As City fans we were facing two away games and one home game over the Christmas and New Year period.

"Now, not only do we swap from a Bank Holiday game to an evening away game on 27 December, and then an away game at noon on New Year's Eve - to the most difficult London game you can get to - but we also lose our only home game on New Year's Day."

City travel to Newcastle United on 27 December, while our home game against Watford scheduled for 1 January 2018 will be moved because of the New Year’s Eve fixture.

We seem to have been royally screwed.

Again.

To repeat a post in the Carabao Cup thread.....

The game against Leicester will kick off at 7.45pm on Tuesday the 19th of December, and will be shown on Sky Sports.

Thanks for posting CITK, was hoping to get over for either Watford or Newcastle, it's not going to happen now, thanks Sky and BT. :019:

Good news for the club esp the first game which is prior to our trip to Anfield.

Fixture changes for March announced - there's a couple of provisos within the announcement, so here's the City site link, rather than write them down :026:
