And there was me hoping this was going to be a thread dedicated to the old washed up 90's boy band. :23:

5ive are just as relevant today as they were in 1998.

Here's one that will get stuck in your head:

Baby when the lights go out...

Thanks for that BB.

Ever since i opened this thread I've had Backstreet's Back by the Backstreet Boys going round my head as I couldn't think of a Five song. :19:

15th century painting one was fascinating

Not really. That school of painting taught this style. There are many pictures from the period where a Shepard is pointing to the sky at a glowing object.

Sorry to make it boring.

There are all sorts of things I could say about having no life so anything seems fascinating, but I think I'll just duck out now!!!!!

I have a life thank you sir, quite a full and interesting one, I just found the 15th century painting fascinating.

:35: Yep, that's the one I find most interesting one too. As the guy says, painters couldn't take a photo of what they claim they saw, so put it on canvas.

It seems very inconsistent with other paintings depicting an angelic cloud.

Other paintings from the time do show shepherds pointing at clouds, but they are very clearly angels emerging from clouds.

This is completely different.

I guess alien spaceships were barely worth the effort of painting way back then - I mean fancy just scribbling one in in the background.
You'd think they'd be front and centre in glorious detail ?
