That strikes me as unfortunate as I thought he was ok last year and not too costly. Not always productive, but, like Johnny Russell, scored a few, made a few and worked hard
Always worked hard Rog and on his day, which was relatively rare, he looked decent but never really settled imo and I think we’ve done okay.
His best match for me was the Hull away play off match...if only he could have produced such form and commitment more often.
Wish him well but no great loss.
The only thing wrong with letting Russell go was the timing...we couldn’t replace that work ethic and willingness to track back...hopefully this time there’s a plan.

Contracts ran out and not offered new ones. I don't count them. Maybe I should but I don't. I count those with a contract going........ ho hum.

He means all those players coming in on the transfer deadline whoever they are . I wouldn't be surprised if one of them was Jamie Ward.

I think he didn't use him as Vydra played a very similar role. Now Vydra is on the move I see Palmer being an ideal replacement. He did a very good job when on loan at Huddersfield, so certainly has the talent..............all about wages now I think. I am told to watch this space on Friday.
Followed now by Bryson, for £1.75m, to Cardiff. More good business imo and more big wages off the bill. Great player...until about four years ago...thanks Nigel.

Yes, me too. I was referring to some supposed good info, but I guess it may be down to sales, or lengthy discussions or other factors that are slowing down the process, but it is getting late now if we are to have a settled and cohesive squad for four weeks today

This was published by the Express and Derbyshire Live on Wednesday and then refuted on Thursday on Wales Online. Derby have also said they have had no contact from Cardiff on Bryson......
I know...disappointing. There was enough happening to get the Cardiff fans on FM talking about it, although they seemed generally fairly underwhelmed. On the plus side the ‘news’ about Thomas going to West Ham seemed equally bogus.
See Huth is the latest to be linked...and guess what...Aston Villa are also said to be interested. Bloody ‘journalists’...just let’s get some proper decent business done please.
