…of the season for me and must admit was a pleasurable experience [for a change].

Braintree were definitely a handful and the refereeing was at least questionable, they committed a foul - nothing, we made contact, he blew up straight away.

Lots of positives, keeper & Francis, two stand outs. It’s early doors but certainly looking more solid than the previous 2 seasons’ starting 11’s.

Thanks for your views Billy2, good to hear you had a positive experience.
I've struggled with going to Victoria Park for the last couple of seasons, mainly because of a toxic miasma in the crowd.
Let's hope that a positive result tomorrow night will see an improvement in the support.

Think there’s something different about this manager and group of players from previous. Monday is a benchmark, let’s see what it brings.

I went to yesterday's game (Woking), my first in over a year! Thought the players and performance was excellent and deserved the victory.
Unusually for me, I sat in the Clarence Road stand and was pleasantly surprised with the attitude around me. The fans were there to enjoy the football and support the team. Unlike the experience I was enduring standing on the Mill House terrace.

Hoping that Pools can maintain their positive start to the season and aren't derailed by injuries or, the occasional, adverse result.
