Fingers crossed for MGW today

Given Rio's contacts within the game, maybe this is Morgan's camp dropping a few hints via the media.

How much do we think is a fair price, given he has under 2 years left on his contract?

£30m?

“But I think there will be many people who will want him in the top six teams to go to their teams and improve their squads.”

(In other words, i know that the big boys are going to turn his head with £200k pw wage offers and a guarantee he'll play front-foot possession football against the very best in the world (thus realising his england ambition, as Thomas keenly advised him a week hence))

Think Forest will renegotiate a whole lot of contracts and clauses in summer if in CL. If they are w. Itch the big boys they have to pay big boys wages and with increased income and commercial contracts to be negotiated they will be in a position to do so.

£30m for MGW is BG bait and not worth discussing.

The reason Aina’s contract has been on hold is that he will get so much more if in CL.

All on hold till it is a certainty but the contracts and clauses are all written and in EM’s safe.

Contract running out at hyperspeed...

We paid £30m for him...

Hasn't increased his goal output this season...

Hasn't played for England under Thomas...

These are the reason's why a £30m valuation is fair.
Of course, we'll try and artifically inflate his value; but the top-six are wise owls when it involves a player who's head has already been turned.

The saddest thing about this, its not really about money or competing against the best in Europe, no, its the playing style and possesion of the ball that the real big boys can offer that will decide matters in Man City's favour, IMO.

Is Gibbs Whites contract stored in a wormhole? How come it's running out quicker than a normal speed? You should give Prof. Cox a ring, see if he can explain the phenomenon.

Can we afford newly minted 5 year deals on mega bucks, if we don't compete in the CL year after year?

Will our wage burden cripple the club, given we've a teeny tiny capacity against the premiership's magical clubs:

Man U - 80k, soon to be 100k
Spurs - 62k
Chelsea - can print their own money
City - 57k
Liverpool - 56k
Newcastle - 50k, and redevelopment around the corner
Villa - 42k, soon to be 50k
Arsenal - 60k, soon to be 70k+

If everyone put this clown FIRMLY on ignore there would be no one for him to wind up. I highly recommend it.
(and I don't mean put you on ignore LynxRed).
If you've put me on ignore and @LynxRed who is ignoring whom (or is it who? who knows...<CHORTLE>)

Anyroad, i have you, me, and everyone on ignore.

One might say this is a circle of ignores; a thinking man's FIRM wank circle, one might infer, chap?

Next England squad comes out today.

Can't wait to see Jordan Henderson called up while MGW is ignored and Anderson is wasted in the U21s
It was mentioned on Forest Focus again about any MGW move being prompted because he missed out on the England squad and it's clear if he played for a Man City he'd have been in it.

Reminded me of that article stating Tuchel had given career advice to certain players that needed to consider their club futures for their international futures. What a fucking cock.

I hate him.
Fucking German guy in charge of England. Are you kidding me?
What a twat.
I won't watch England again unless he leaves or one of our players is playing.

Bellingham is injured

Foden struggling

Good chance MGW gets called up

Albeit he was totally anonymous again in a recent game Tuchel watched him play live

Can't remember which one?

Good grief jock, this is quite a stance for one of the more reasoned posters on here. He is a jug eared German twat tho I have to say.

Listen, I get on really well with Germans in real life. I've been to Berlin a bunch of times and to Dusseldorf all on holiday. If I could live anywhere it would be Germany.

But that's real life.

In football, fuck Germany, fuck the Germans and keep them away from our fucking national team. I've always had that stance. Its supposed to be a rivalry ffs.

The fact that he's telling our players to leave because we aren't rich and famous enough for him to have ever heard of us before is the icing on this shitty poo cake.

I had zero interest in England the day he was appointed and then that plummeted sub zero when he announced his first squad.

When we get to the world cup time I'll show an interest again but I'll loath watching it with him in charge.

Didn't mean to sound harsh chap, I got your context and agree !

I have little interest in England playing until semi’s of any competition. I will have even less in a club world cup. I will not be watching any of it, no interest in Man City or Chelsea. May read odd article but it’s summer. If Forest were playing that would be different. Think FIFA have badly misunderstood world football. No one will watch either of these sides play a second rate team. Less interest than a pre season friendly. Fans identify with their clubs stronger than national team.
