If he wins every qualifying game, why would he lose his job?
That being the case, and given the messaging, MGW will need to be playing possession football from next season onwards, preferably at Europa League level or higher.
If not, he won't a get a sniff in Tuchel's team.

I'm not expecting him to lose his job. He's on a short term contract, which expires after the 2026 World Cup.

I wake up this morning @ there is now a 25% tariff on JLR cars being imported into the US - that is circa 20% of their sales - and another great British firm hits the dust.

Isn't Trump claiming us charging 20 per cent vat on cars is effectively a tariff?

Isn’t the VAT on all cars not just those from the US? I don’t know the answer but if so the comparison to a tariff is not correct.
and they still have to pay sales tax on new cars in the US, which is essentially the same as VAT

How is it a tariff when it is applied to all cars, domestic and foreign, and indeed all goods?
It is a tax, evenly applied, not a tariff.
A tariff by definition would be an economic trade barrier designed to give imported goods a disadvantage compared to domestic ones. That cannot be the case with a tax that is applied equally.
