To be fair I don't think they can all be blamed on Howe. Maybe he gives the ok but he did say in an interview once that they would sometimes go for value whether they needed the player or not, as long as they fit the criteria. I'm not against the Barnes signing what I am against is not playing the lad especially when Gordon has been atrocious. Same goes for Tonali, dropping him really beggars belief. Howe does not play players who are in form he has his favourites.

My solution isn't to sack howe but if we are constantly going to be under threat from psr and have a threadbare squad then we will need an elite manager. We probably wouldn't get 1 at this stage of the season and I've already said howe should and probably will get this season. Let's be realistic our season is pretty much a write off. I can't think of anyone who isn't under contract but I'd actually take mourinho.
 
Howe has came out and said we might need to spend before we buy in January, despite the fact we haven't really spent in 2 or 3 windows and despite the fact £70m was available for a defender in the summer. Where's that money gone?
 
Pope crocked now, another one where they didn't realise a knee injury until the next day. Hopefully not a bad injury, but we all know that means six months
