Fatty fat fats paid to lose weight?

The Fear

A Wise Man (once sat next to him)
From the daily mail so it will be gospel obviously :3:

Overweight people will be paid to lose weight, under radical new Government plans unveiled today to tackle the escalating obesity crisis
Under the NHS-backed scheme, those who shed the pounds will be rewarded with cash or shopping vouchers.
Incentives could be higher or lower depending on the amount of weight a participant loses, although the amounts are still unclear.

Amazing how they never reward those who try to remain, or do remain fit isn't it?

No extra vat on killer pies and pasties but they put it on whey and other sports supplements.

These governments really are morons!

Excellent. I am going to pile on the pounds for the next few weeks, and then earn some extra cash losing it.

How many times do you reckon I can do this for?

Wish I could be 16 again I would be a fat alcoholic with a drug problem with 16 kids and a knackered back life would be great £350 a week with a brand new mini bus and a blue badge.

LOL watching the tonight programme and the bloke in charge of the soup kitchen is about 25 stone.

I laughed for a good solid 5 minutes when I saw it. Proves that the - only in Britain saying is nowhere near accurate.

Still at least the really fat ones are physically unable to breed and take child benefit etc., so swings and roundabouts

What's the bet they spend all their money on battered mars bars until they get found out and money stopped?

And I suppose some of my taxes will go towards funding these lazy half arsed fat fuckin bastards ?
What sort of twat dreams these schemes up ?
You think it`s a good idea Mr.Twat ? Well you fuckin pay for it,cos I`m not.

There is a serious side to this, not that you'd know with my very naughty title!

The hypocrisy of this government.

There were loads of representations and petitions made to the gov to stop vat on health and sports nutrition being introduced. The stuff many of us who want to be, get or remain healthy take to enhance and to keep many out of the doctors and hospitals.

Ignored.

Then there was the move, at a similar time, to tax fat dripping crap sold at the likes of Gregg's.

The food industry barked and the government backed down, we even had my islets pretending they had favourite pasties, the lying arses.

One set of stuff good for you taxed.

Artery clogging crap, not taxed.

What sort of message does that send?

Now they are talking (let's be honest, mwe can hardly trust the daily mail as gospel but governments do leak potential policies to drip feed them into our noggins.

Something does need doing on the obesity epidemic, as the report says, it is proving to be a massive burden on the NHS, but what did these idiotic governments (plural, not just one party) expect?

The stopped cooking classes, they have no education on food or nutrition, they sold off half the playing fields and they are in the back pocket of the massive food industry figureheads, more so in USA where they can make or break policies, as witnessed with the removal of the finger pointing towards sugar in their then growing problem with obesity, to concentrate only on fat, bringing forward a decade of low fat, high sugsr foods, billions of pounds to the clever food liars and obesity went from a problem to an epidemic.

Now they talk of paying people to lose weight.

Why not educate and help provide decent food and limit the bullshit claims food manufacturers are allowed to get away with?

Why not subsidise entry fees for the couc il run swimming pools and gyms instead of having prices that exclude many of the people struggling to make ends meet but raising kids who get no exercise?

And why not do what the likes of Jamie Oliver tried, stop feeding crap to kids at school and as that report says, stop selling crap in hospitals?

You know, lead by example instead of playing lip service to an ever growing problem.
