Two men in South Africa have been arrested on suspicion of killing a farmworker by throwing oranges at him, police said today.

Police Lt. Col. Moatshe Ngoepe said the suspects allegedly began throwing oranges at the victim after an argument broke out.

He said: 'They started pelting the deceased with all those loose oranges, killing him on the spot.'

Anyone ever heard of fruit being used as a murder weapon before?


 
I'd say the two men ''just pipped the farmer'' on being the winners
 
Apparently had they thrown the oranges more weakly and not hit a major pressure point on his body he may have been ok, but the zest at which they threw the oranges at his navel meant he ultimately ran out of juice.
