Victim of its own success yesterday. Took forever to get a drink with two struggling on the main bar in the centre spot and at times only one serving in the outside bar.

Great to see such a great facility before the games but needs extra staffing to get through the queues ensuring every penny is taken.

Need to sort the staffing and stock issues (I heard they ran out of beer?) quickly as people will go elsewhere if the problems continue.

Yep. I think it's a great idea in theory but after queuing at the bar for nearly 40 minutes on Boxing Day i haven't been back. The issues seem to be staff number shortages.

Last time there was only one person serving and he said they had staff shortages. Yesterday they ran out of beer but had some Coors "light" left outside.

They could have sold far more if they had more staff and more stock. Still, it will probably have been a record day for fanzone sales.

It's poor, really. It's not as if they didn't know how many people there would be there.

I'm sure this will all have been noted, however, it's rare we get such glorious weather, which can only have stoked the beer intake.

Wonder if they could look at getting a local independent brewery to re-badge us an Imps' Ale, as Bowland did last week? Thought it was a nice touch and a nice pint.

There are loads of local micro-brewers who I am sure would love to have a stand in the Fans' Zone.

I was told staff hadnt turned up! Maybe it needs Ian and his managers to muck in( or did they).
I would suggest its just one of those days where everything combined against them!
Could have 10more staff next wk and no hot weather and less customers( though doubtful at the moment)

Fewer customers? Ah! Those were the days, when it was five seats to a fan ?

I would suggest that the week before a mobile beer van, like you see at shows could have been put in place. The long range weather forecast indicated good weather. Granted the provider would need a cut but I’m sure there would be profit whilst keeping fans happy. Never went there yesterday so forgive me if a beer caravan was there.

Unusable for me due to only having Carling, links with a brewery or local pub as suggested elsewhere would also solve this issue hopefully

I generally turn up to games quite late, so yesterday was the first time I've been in the fanzone and I must agree about the time is takes to get served.

Two guys behind a bar isn't enough. There were times in our NL days where they'd be 4 or 5 and about a quarter of the custom!

A brilliant idea, just needs tweaking.

In fairness they have 4/5 behind the bar most of the season. Yesterday on the busy game of the season with the best weather resources were depleted.

When I was at the Green Man in Wembley prior to the Checkatrade Trophy Final I was mightily impressed with the speed of the beer dispensers in the outside bar. No queues because it took about 30 seconds to serve me with my order of 7 pints. The club really should look at implementing something like this as they only have a narrow 90 minute window of opportunity before each game to take as much money as possible.

They had them at Leeds when we played there a few years back in the League Cup.

They had several of these.
