The fake eggs story does the rounds here every so often. The Malaysian Government went out looking for these fake eggs but couldn't find any.

Eggs costs less than 10p per egg. How are you going to make a shell and insert something that looks like a yoke and an egg white into it for less than 10p per piece?

It's nonsense. Tubbz, you really should check your sources before posting stuff like this. Everyone expects there to be whacko stuff in the conspiracy theory thread but this is real and harmful misinformation.

Buy fresh, homemade means you should know what is in it, if you can't buy a cow cos you haven't the room, Morrisons sells it with a 23 p extra tag for farmers, or grow your own fruit, salad and veg use the local fruit & veg shop.

Meat buy from Muscle food and I am not into making flour so I will stick to decent quality and hope for the best. I could get chickens but I have enough on. Though if we moved to Canada I could get our son in law to get extra meat when he goes shooting twice a year to bring home the meat, which is what they do.

Only so far you can go to keep your food as fresh as possible. I watch the fake food type programs to see what is going on and use my common sense

It's a hoax. Typing it in capital letters doesn't make it real.

The first video above is about making display items for Japanese restaurants. I've seen them in restaurants here too. It's a good way to show people what they are ordering. It looks really good too. I assumed they cooked the food first and then sprayed something on it to preserve it. Anyway, it's not fake food. They are not trying to sell this food. It's for display purposes only.

The plastic rice and fake eggs stories have been doing the social media rounds for at least 5 years. They are both fake but they come back again every so often to outrage the gullible.

The video about meat glue is correct. There are a lot pretty shady things that go on in the meat industry. Meat glue might be the least harmful of them.
 
As anyone who works in the food industry knows we have extremely stringent regulations concerning the production and supply of food. I personally have more faith in them than I do in youtube. As for display food, not sure what the problem is?
