Exeter vs The People's Champions......

9 minutes gone and Exeter only go and score........

Scousers grab a rather fortunate equaliser.

Young side deployed by Klopp it seems as they have a 'tough set of fixtures' ahead (TM the BBC). Ah bless. Doubtless he will be lauded for 'giving youth it's chance' whereas criticism for 'not showing respect to the competition or opponents' will be reserved for others.

Outstanding save from the Exeter keeper from a point blank Benteke header preserves their lead :hat off:

Exeter fail to clear their lines and the scouters are handed a lifeline.

Not making excuses for Liverpool in any way but our lads would struggle on that surface given the meal they made of the Watford pitch last weekend.

Stand by for 'Klopp the brave genius' headlines.......

It's a huge list of fixtures always in third round weekend so the details are here.....

Graham Le Saux duly obliging on BBC's Football Focus with a "Jurgen Klopp had no choice" accompanied by a graphic of Poor Old Liverpool's oh-so-much-tougher-than-anyone-else's-next-five-fixtures-list :doh!:

Unbelievable

Van Ghoul's mob heading for stalemate against Sheff Utd but are awardeda penalty in the 4th minute of injury time. YCMIU

Odds on the rags 4th round tie being televised (no matter who pried with)?

Skoorb - seen the penalty at the swamp once, catches him, so it is a pen, but Depay doesn't half make a meal of it.

Coverage of the Rags fourth round tie? Nailed on.

That's fine - fresh legs against tired defender but it felt like 'play until they score' all over again. Just seen it - definite contact - poor decision by the defender to go to ground.

The broadcasters doubtless justify their decisions on the basis of the 'global fan base' (although this doesn't hold water with BT - they want to use their selection of this game to drive take up of their BT Sport service), but they certainly can't claim it has anything to do with entertainment given the dross being served up by Van Ghoul and the rags this season.

The FA Cup draw delivered some decent minnows v big boys ties and more of these should be shown e.g. Eastleigh v Bolton, Oxford v Swansea etc. These are the clubs that need the tv revenue and the FA should grow a pair and use their bargaining position to ensure this happens more often.

I only caught it on motd so no Howard the Red available for comment - poor decision by the defender to slide in, plenty of cover around him but tired minds after 90 minutes of being bored to death by the rag style of play probably played tricks with his thought processes and it was either that or throwing himself into the crowd :95:

To be fair, that's exactly what the match nearly turned out to be.

FT Spuds 2 Leicester 2

Kane with a late penalty ensures another fixture for both these sides. Suits me :yup:

I am not sure the ref saw the hand ball and took the players word for it, but any replays involving these two teams is good for us.
