No 62 Salford City (sponsored by the BBC) or Hartlepool

Ball warmers at the ready.........

I seriously feared that we would be having to play them 4 times in January as the balls let got fewer and fewer! :duck:

I'm watching them now on S*y's Monday night football against the Palace, seeing as we've got them 3 times coming up.

A game of few chances so far. Good point blank Howard save from a Wickham header, and Lukaku has hit the inside of the post and out.

:110:

We were one of the last three fixtures drawn out, IIRC.
Again, off memory, there are 3 or 4 all PL ties, so a bit of early weeding out.

What are the odds that the rags game gets picked for live showing?

Wasn't it Fifth who produced the stat that their games over the last few seasons have been?
Must be a chance we are on TV. Sure the Beeb will take Spurs-Leicester.

Exeter v Liverpool has to be a cert in my eyes along with the traditional rag allocation of to time in the cup, a competition they haven't won for over ten years.

I wouldn't bet against 'plucky underdogs' Salford City being on tv again if they get through against Hartlepool. They seem to be being sponsored by the BBC.

Palace 1 up at Everton on 75 mins. in what was a fairly even game, with Everton slightly ahead on chances.

For sure we can get something at Norwich. For sure.

But we must not underestimate them or hope they do a Stoke and turn into us on a good day.

Just switched over to see if Hartlepool were any closer to destroying the Salford City fairytale........

.......and surprise, surprise if BT sport don't give details of their third round match coverage which includes.....

Yes.......the rags vs Sheffield United

That will make it their 48th consecutive FA cup fixture which has been televised. Utterly **cking ridiculous. The BBC are no better. None, not one, of the non-league sides fixtures in the third round will be shown live by either the BBC or BT Sport which is a very poor show.

48 times in a row.

Thankfully, Hartlepool knocked thrm out and the BBC-led fixation with this tinpot rag-led outfit is over.... for the time being.
