FA Cup 5th Round Draw - what do we want?

I imagine I'm not in a minority who would happily see us dodge the remaining 4 other "big sides" and see them Manchester and London clubs face off against eachother, while we get a nice home tie against Millwall or Oxford, but does anyone fancy a glamour tie at this stage? Or who would be up to taking on Lincoln or Sutton at their place?

A walk in the park for the squad players....right to the final.

The might Sutton United will do! Give them a 3-0 start to add spice! COYS!

Thought I'd pop in here while it's quiet on the front page!

You're more than welcome, CS. Be nice to see a few more of your kind join us in the forums!

:7:

Cheers Dave, glad to participate. Seems this side of the forum is accepted as 'anything goes', language wise, banter and a subtle dig now and again! Less risk of being made to sit in the naughty corner!

Would just add, I often find following the threads cumbersome with a 'reply with quote' causing excessive scrolling to get to the real reply! I guess it's designed to help and follow a specific point/debate. And my gawd, an edit feature! All good. COYS!

Fulham away.

I hope Mopo knows they are no mugs.

Play the same side as we did sat and we are out.

It's a pretty shit draw again.

It's lining up the top 5 to be in the 1/4s

2 games away from Wembley.

Bang in the middle of two EL games v Gent. Would be interesting to see how Poch prioritises. I know he always says we take every comp seriously, but ......

Happy with Fulham away; we just have to play our normal starting 11..and we're in the next round :-)

Of course, it's the Cup, so anything can happen...

We can't be doing wholesale changes. 7/8 first teamers for the first EL game and Fulham and then see where we are for the second leg of the EL. No reason why we shouldn't be looking at winning all 3 without compromising the squad too much

That's how I see it.

Seen a bit of Fulham this season and they are a solid team, not much worse than the bottom teams.

Try and finish the Gent tie in first league.

Not bad.

A stronger spine will be needed but reckon we can get away with a few fringe players playing.

A decent draw, as you say , I don't want to see 9 fringe players , a few changes but not virtually a whole team of them.

Didn't realise it was between the Europa games, I bet we get knocked out of 1 of the tournaments in that week. We should be sailing through both games, sod making too many changes, we still have a much bigger chance of winning 1 of these competitions than winning the league.
