The draw for the third round of the FA Cup will take place at 7.30pm on Monday 3rd Dec.

It will be shown live in BBC 1.
 
We can beat whoever we're drawn against, no need to worry about FFP/PPi/warm balls etc.

Presumably the rags will be drawn at home and shown live on TV against lower league opposition?

There are exciting ties to be played many of which would merit being televised ahead of the rags v Reading.........but I will eat my hat if their fixture is not shown ahead of say Solihull/Blackpool v Arsenal, Woking v Watford, Tranmere/Southport v Spurs.
 
There were mutterings from some sections that it was embarrassing how they are chosen for TV and I forget how many years in a row it is, so you never know, they may be obliged to change it this year.
 
If the decision were based on footballing merit, right now there is zero case for them being given one of the tv slots ahead of other clubs who could do much more with that revenue. If they are selected I would love to hear the justification from the tv bosses.

It cannot be based on the likelihood of entertainment.

If reading were top of their League then it might be a different case but they are just above the relegation zone but that wont stop one of the broadcasters fighting to get this one.

Not a classic 3rd Rd draw but anyone of those would be excellent fodder for the tv masses. Or us had we been drawn away at Rotherham.
