FA bottle Matic ban

I see Matic's ban has been reduced to two games in appeal.

His offence, violent conduct, normally carries an automatic three match ban but they have come up with some mealy mouthed excuses for bowing to Moaninho's pressure about the incident. Something to do with the force of his push and the 'level of provocation'.

What a crock of :117:

Mourinho's got a dossier of anti-Chelsea incidents doncha know :92:

I am confused as I thought that retrospective action could still be taken even if the referee said he saw an incident but did not caution a player etc if he has made a 'clear and obvious mistake'. I believe Atkinson said he saw the Barnes challenge but thought it merited no action but everyone is pretty unanimous that it was worthy of a red card.

Have I got that wrong?

I am sure that lesser offences than Matic's 'shove in the playground' have resulted in three game bans which have not been reduced.

Stinks to high heaven

Seems to me Maureen has assumed the mantle vacated by old purple conk, aka pressuring refs and the FA to get things to go his way. A***hole.
