Ex-Millers on the move

I don’t want to knock such a young player, but the jury is out for me on whether Harry Gray will make it. I didn’t see in him what others apparently did. Hamshaw was imo daft to put so much pressure on him and at times got a bit infatuated. He always gave effort and for that I respect him - I’m just not sure that he has what it takes technically or physically.

Potentially very good but for me an odd signing in January for a club in a relegation struggle.

BBC football website - Joshua Koroma... ex-Millers loaned-in striker has moved from Leyton O. to Chesterfield on a season-long loan. He made five league appearances for the Millers in 2020, but didn't score.
 
32 Millers league appearances in two seasons , scored one goal . Can only remember him having one good game. Another one of SE's "winners". He was probably ok, about 5 years before we signed him. :confused:
 
According to Evans he could ‘land a ball on a toadstool from 50 yards’. Lol. Once a good player and probably a very nice guy but in truth a waste of a (good league one) wage for the best part of two years. I was always surprised how uncomposed he was on the ball. It seemed to me that he mostly wanted to just bang the ball towards first time every time it came to him. Not passes, just hoofs. The opposite of what we were promised. Anyway, good luck to him.

According to Evans he was going to be the MF maestro who would make us tick, consistently hitting balls like a quarterback to land on a sixpence.

I wanted to keep people guessing who he was working for lol.

A Liam Kelly from say 5/6 years ago would have been ideal.
Injuries at Coventry took their toll. Spoke to him a couple of times when with us.
Nice bloke to chat to, came across as honest and usually spoke his mind as a previous Manager found out.
Good luck to him at Coventry, he still has a lot to offer football in general.
