Just a reminder of who was involved in the last international break - Rodak (Slovakia), Moore, Vaulks, T. Lawrence (Wales), Arnason (Iceland), Wiseman (Gibraltar), Ajayi (Nigeria), Manning (Rep. Ireland))... and Vuckic (now with Real Zaragoza) is in the current Slovenia squad. Interesting to see how many will be making an appearance this time. Plus we have two CURRENT Millers called up for Jamaica and one for Rep. Ireland U-21.

If you include our current international call-ups, we'd have enough players for a full team.... with less playing out of position than usual ! :balloon:

Four World Cup Qualifying games (WCQ), one African Cup of Nations (ACON) game, plus one friendly match could all feature ex-Millers today...

Updates...

Only Kieffer Moore scored, no "assists" or bookings .

Montenegro v Gibraltar (WCQ 1400) FT : 4-1
WISEMAN sub on 81 mins
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

VUCKIC sub on 75 mins
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Benin v Nigeria (ACON 1600) FT : 0-1

Additional information - Benin's nickname is "The Squirrels". Unfortunately, they are trying to change it to something more fearsome... although I have seen park-based squirrels nip people on a few occasions.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Slovakia v Malta (WCQ 1945) FT : 2-2
Rodak not in Slovakia match squad.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rep. Ireland v Luxembourg (WCQ 1945) FT : 0-1
(Best result in Luxembourg football history ?!?!)
Manning not in Rep. Ireland match squad (Given the score, he is probably relieved!)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wales v Mexico (Friendly 2000) FT : 1-0
Vaulks not in Wales match squad
MOORE scored one, subbed (tactical) 45 mins
T. LAWRENCE subbed (tactical) 65 mins

I'm sorry and I know I shouldn't but every time I see 'Wiseman' and 'International' in the same sentence I have a little laugh to myself!

He's got 11 more international caps than David Artell (7 caps, also for Gibraltar). Wiseman has three England U-20 caps from 2005 too - that's probably why we signed him on loan in 2006

Gibraltar did well for half an hour - then just crumbled again
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not seen any news about the fitness of Vaulks.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's the end of the current international break. Good results for Nigeria and decent ones for Wales and Slovakia, not so good for some of the others

Mexico 2 Iceland 1 (Friendly)
ARNASON not in the Iceland match squad.

--------------------------------------------------
Here's the first one of this international break...and a new player on the thread!

Malta v N. Ireland (Friendly)
Adam THOMPSON (now at Leyton Orient) starts for N. Ireland
He's just been booked.
HT : 0-1
Subbed 85 mins. No goals or "assists".
FT : 0-3

Possibly more ex-Millers in international action on Tuesday (01/06/21).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Additional - Ryan Manning has already been named in the Rep. Ireland squad. Kieffer Moore has been named in the Wales squad today, but not Will Vaulks or Tom Lawrence. Florian Jozefzoon has been named in the current Suriname squad.
Semi Ajayi is not in 24-man Nigeria squad for their upcoming friendlies. Haris Vuckic is not in the Slovenia squad.
No information about Rodak or Wiseman yet , but they are likely to be in their international squads.

So... that's N. Ireland, Rep. Ireland, Wales, Iceland, Suriname (plus probably Slovakia and Gibraltar) .
(Plus current Millers in Rep. Ireland, Jamaica and Rep. Ireland U-21 squads)

Can't find much information, but RODAK came on as sub for Slovakia at the start of the second half

Adam Thompson - is that an awful long time before appearances for Northern Ireland are am I missing some of his games?

No, there really was a big gap!. Like many signings of the current RUFC regime, he had a fairly awful record of injuries. He hardly played for us anyway ... and it could be a sign of how desparate N. Ireland are for players. Sounds like he has done ok for Orient in L1 , although it looks like he only played six games before (guess what?) he got injured again!

France v Wales (Friendly) 2005 k.o.
KIEFFER MOORE is on the subs bench for Wales

Update 1 -Wales have had a player sent off, so Kieffer might not get on the field now.
HT 1-0

Update 2 - 2-0 now
MOORE on as sub for Bale (58 mins)

Update 3 - FT : 3-0. Sounded like Kieffer did ok, considering Wales only had ten men.

Just realised that ex-Miller BLAIR TURGOTT , is in the current Jamaica squad.. Came on in the 88th minute for us in a 3-0 win over Shrewsbury in 2014. He was on a one-month loan, but I think that was his only appearance ! He is now with the Swedish club Ostersunds. Getting the feeling that the Jamaican FA are having difficulties in finding anybody who is willing to play for them now.
