Let's not make excuses we've been shite for the best part of 12 months. We had an opportunity to strengthen in January knowing we'd have all these games. Howe said he was happy with what he had. Happy now Eddie?
 
Conveniently using March 16th as a yard stick. We still had to qualify for CL football after that and let's not forget it was on goal difference that we qualified. We are a team still a long way from quality in depth as a squad. To conform with Masters and Co. we can't pay a player the wages that he can get at one of the septic six otherwise we would have 115 charges against us and they wouldn't be a delay in a verdict for those. Maybe 'the rat' would still be here if there was.

We are still able to pay more than several teams above us. Out summer signings were crap and we did nothing about it in January
Howe can have no excuse, he knew exactly how many games we had coming and said he was happy with his squad. We do not have a centre forward or anybody who consistently if ever gets in the box yet we have several winners, to what end.
In defence we have very average keepers and slow defenders. r recipe for failure in the end
