Bernardo to become second player to 300 Premier League appearances for City

GOAL! Everton 0-1 Man City (Doku, 43)

The probing has paid off and Man City take a late first half lead!
It's a gorgeous strike after being picked out at the top of the area by Cherki, who has the beating of Mykolenko.
Doku takes a touch and uses Garner as a screen to curl the ball past Pickford.
Nerves eased for Man City, and a bit of a shame for Everton.

Everton 0-1 Man City

HT: A probing, possession-filled first half for Man City, with Doku's late goal the difference.
Everton had a huge chance themselves to take a shock lead, but Donnarumma and Khusanov made sure Beto didn't find the net.
The Toffees have done well though, and you'd expect more after the break.
For Man City, it's so far, so good. They're closing the gap to three points on Arenal as things stand.

GOAL! Everton 3-2 Man City (Haaland, 83)

WHO SAID THIS GAME WAS OVER YET?! Not me. Ahem.
It's an absolutely wonderful ball through the middle that picks out the run of Haaland between the defenders.
It's then bread and butter for the striker, who powers past Pickford.
Game. On.

GOAL! Everton 3-3 Man City (Doku, 90+7)

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?! Incredible...
No one can stop Doku as he picks up the loose ball after the initial corner is cleared.
He trots around in a semi circle to the top of the box, and it's another wonderful curled strike that beats Pickford

Andy Hinchcliffe

Everton 3-3 Man City

Sky Sports' Andy Hinchcliffe at the Hill Dickinson Stadium:
"It's a game they really needed to win but a point is better than nothing.
"Left foot, right foot. It doesn't matter. Extraordinary from Doku. It's a stunning strike to rescue the game.
"They looked dead and buried but they showed resilience, character and desire. They showed they want to be champions."

All defenders have done it, few other options, so a pass back with just not enough pace on it, it changed the game, but he will get over it. I forgive him.
His sliding doors moment.....what if he had turned right with the ball instead of passing back to Donna? .....:hmmm:

Anyone else seeing the latest campaign which is bound to result in a penalty against City over the coming games as Moyes does his crust over Bernardo holding Rohl (?) at a corner. Bernardo was lucky but FFS this happens every week to Haaland and no one bats an eyelid.

“2012: David Moyes’ Everton stopped Manchester United’s title charge and indirectly helped Manchester City.
2026: David Moyes’ Everton stopped Manchester City’s title charge and indirectly helped Arsenal.
14 years later… Moyes repeated the same chaos for a different beneficiary. Football heritage.”
