Forward Feeling Positive Ahead Of Spurs
The challenging start to the season doesn't get any easier for Everton as meetings with Manchester City, Chelsea and several Europa League ties continues against Tottenham on Saturday.
When the Blues return from the international break a response to the defeat at Chelsea is something Ronald Koeman will be looking for when Spurs visit Goodison Park.
Sandro Ramirez is certainly up for the game and has been working hard at Finch Farm during the break in a bid to get his season up and running after being injured on his debut against Stoke, rushing his return for the Premier League champions.
He told the Official Website: 'I wanted to use these two weeks to prepare and keep improving ahead of the Tottenham game. I have worked hard to prepare for the Spurs game which for us, in front of our fans, will be massive. I feel very positive about the team going into this match. The week before the Chelsea game I was not really resting, because I was training and preparing myself.'
Adding: 'I had two weeks of problems with my heel but I was looking forward to playing again when we went to Chelsea. Now I feel one hundred per cent and I want to be ready for the Spurs game.'
The Spaniard played a part in helping Wayne Rooney mark his second debut for Everton with a goal against Stoke and he's now eager to open his own account.
He's pleased with the Blues' start to the Premier League season but he knows there's more to come from the team as a collective unit and himself on a personal level - Sandro went on to say he's convinced his game is well suited to England.
Sandro said: 'I think playing in England suits me - it gives me the chance to make runs in behind and attack the spaces. One of the reasons I came to the Premier League was I knew I was coming to one of England's biggest clubs. So far it has been very good. Of course, there are so many things we need to improve and we are working every day on the training ground to get better.
