I am very surprised that George is on a free, he does have talent and may develop later, like a lot of our home players and I assume that we will have a clause in their in terms of a percentage on the sell on fee should that occur in the future and will be big money if George develops into and International and sells for big bucks.
If he does go, I am sure we all wish him the best for the future and hope that he makes a go of it

BBC Local news have just reported Evans has signified for Reading (no mention of whether it was on a free)
Good luck to the lad - I am very pleased that at least he had the chance to fufil his boyhood dream of making an appearance for Manchester City. It might have been brief but I am sure he will cherish the memory.
Also sure that there are likely to be clauses in his contract about sell on % - this is all part of the long term plan I believe for the Academy. Not all the players taken on will make it to the City fort team but they will make it is some capacity and so the sell on clauses are a mechanism of creating an income source......and one day the club may still uncover that Lionel Messi type gem
