Strange I’ve got no nerves about this game at all whether it’s cos I expect Spain to win I don’t know they could blow us away in half an hour but if we are still in the game after an hour I think we could do it 😳

The Spaniards look more nervous than I was expecting. Jumpy at the back and some poor final balls.

Kane's lack of mobility is England's main problem.
 
No disgrace losing to Spain they were better on the day and best team in the tournament
Seriously need to think about retiring Kane we look so much better without him
The team tonight went back to that nervous scared to play mode we shook it off for 5 mins when he changed it but we soon sat back into the old ways but Spain were too good to let that happen we just need to be more brave with the ball and play it quicker they could be a great side instead of a good side

Mr Safety's luck finally ran out. We came up against a top team organised all players knowing their role and formation. Contrast that with England chopping and changing players and formation throughout the tournament. Last 2 games we play with a 5 look much better and he changes it for the final. Matching up against Spain was suicidal as it proved. Pickford kept score respectable. Southgates record against top teams still only 25% win rate that in itself should be reason for him to walk away into the sunset.
 
We won’t win anything until we learn to keep hold of the ball better for the majority of the time it’s just been like watching us flounder in the premier league running out of gas in the 2nd half as chasing the ball about the pitch takes its toll,Gareth has to take the majority of the blame he picks the players and the systems Kane shouldn’t have played and for all those journalists saying he had to play cos of his record I would say how many times did they need to see the difference with and without him, a lot of those are too young to remember but Alf Ramsay dropped the greatest scorer of the era for the final jimmy greaves imagine if social media had been around back then 🫤 but he knew how he wanted to play he had a plan he and the players stuck to it and as we all know won it
We need a plan and play the players to suit that plan they may not be the best players but we need a team not individuals
