Euros Germany 2024

The main reason Spain function so well and look better than everyone is is Rodri. He's the best player in the tournament, aside from that w@nker Mbappe.

Starting him with Fabian Ruiz in midfield is something that's long overdue and now they're reaping the rewards.

More energy and effort exerted by both teams in one half tonight than our lads have done in total since match one.

Well I put the kiss of death on Austria thought turkey deserved it overall but what a save from their keeper at the death to send them through
Everybody I’ve seen in the round of 16 bar one has tried to go forward and attack anyone guess who the one that hasn’t is ?

Holland in the final then. Yesterday was the best they've been, and if they maintain that level now with the squad depth they've got, they'll have no problem dispatching Turkey then England/Switzerland.

Surprised Austria went out to Turkey. The ridiculous 1st minute goal threw things up in the air I guess. They'll be very disappointed because this is the best they've been for a long time and they had a very legitimate chance of reaching the final. But it serves them right for not starting good old Gregoritsch.

Can't wait for the World Cup when all the pundits and commentaters tell us again that we are in with a great chance of winning it.

You deffo can,t kid the people all the time! Last nights match between Austria & Turkey especially first half, proper footy turning back the clock back to the good old days when attack was the intention of both teams. Can,t stand this tactical modern shite, like watching paint dry

Germany Spain didn't turn out to be the blockbuster it was billed as, still plenty of drama I suppose. Spain doing a Southgate and sitting deep to defend a lead nearly cost them but it was a header worthy of winning a big game.

We've probably been spoiled by club football, but between watching the Euros and Copa America it's such a drop off in quality. International football used to be the pinnacle, but now a team like Atlanta who won the Europa League would beat any international team comfortably.

Come on England,3,4,2,1 formation wi Saka at left wing back,Trippier at right wing back.Well done Gareth on your 100th match as England boss.:clap::clap::clap:UTB

Johny Reb country. Had some brill times in the States, Fort Bragg North Carolina, training with their Special Forces, Could,nt believe the size of the base and the friendly reception we always got. Also HALO training in California with a sun tan thrown in for good measure!

Huge improvement they’re saying??? Am I missing something? I think both teams have been underwhelming. Saka is our main threat

I was surprised by that comment too.
They started by moving the ball a bit faster but, by 1/2 time, were ponderous and as slow as ever.

All doing a Norwood- looking to pass back without even considering a forward pass.
The 1/2 summed up by a short corner ending up with Pickford.
