European Championships

It’s official. Harry Kane is as lazy as f*ck. :shake:
Pickford seems more concerned at taking extra touches and time on the ball to ensure the cameras are on him, bossing everyone about and then delivering a sh*t pass. :shake:

Southgate again forced to be reactive in making changes after conceding a goal.

3 changes made and although not directly involved in England’s equaliser by Saka they immediately changed the dynamic…..

Be positive Gareth :please:

yet again too late and does not have the ability to change tactics mid-way through a game with plan B or C

I am not sure but I think this is the first shoot-out I have seen them win.

I have to say the strictness with which the matches are being officiated has been a breath of fresh air compared to the drama and nonsense we have to put up with in the league. No messing about, players play acting is ignored, they've told to get up and get on with the game, hardly ever a stoppage for anything except head injury, none of the arguing with the ref.....

Breath of fresh air

Lucky England do it again, how does Kane get in the team, keeps playing too deep as a third #10. Now should make the final to play Spain.

The first half was bright and encouraging - after the initial poor concession. The second half their midfield freedom was stifled after Koeman made changes and England couldn’t adapt. Southfgate’s record cannot be faulted - consecutive Euro finals in a competition where we had frequently failed to qualify for or often didn’t get out of the group etc but they have a very tough ask on Sunday.
Rice is vulnerable. Trippier is a real weakness on the left. Kane is lazy as hell and never threaten to run beyond the defenders (as Watkins did to get te winner). And PIckford annoys the hell out of me with his pathetic constant arm waving :arrghh:

Taking Foden off instead of Bellingham, when the former was having really good game in that position, Southgate has got away with it so far, by only taking a right footed right back to play left back and a left footed left back in a wheelchair who can only play 45 minutes and is nowhere near as fit as he should be for this sort of competition. It is sad when we have only Pickford to choose from and he makes saves for the camera and could and should done better to prevent the Dutch from going ahead. Agan the subs were late coming on and not given enough time to get the feel of the game.

Apparently, the winner on Sunday gets to keep Benidorm.
