18 minutes into England v Serbia ans the commentator states that Harry Kane hasn’t touched the ball yet. England leading 1-0. Shearer comments that “it doesn’t matter”.

Oh right.

It only fecking matters when Haaland is playing and then it’s critical to note how many touches he has in a game.

England good value for their lead but the weak link is Trent “It means More to Us” A-A who has given the ball away cheaply and taken two shit free kicks.

Looks like Phil is being lined up by Football365 as their fall guy if England fail. This is the second article that popped up from them trashing Foden. The other is from John Barnes.

Phil has the target on his back.

Grealish was the better option for that position, but Foden has been red hot as an central attacking midfielder, Southgate should stick to either Bellingham and Foden in central positions, drop Arnold - Trent and play Palmer on the left.

it is so obvious to me, but I am not getting paid mega bucks

Monitoring the Spain v Italy game......every time I glance at the screen someone is in the deck writhing in 'agony'.

20 free kicks awarded in the first half.

😡 FIRST minute of the second half and some dirty Italian F*ckwit clatters Rodri leaving him on the deck. He looked in some pain.

England struggling against Denmark. Slow; sluggish; sloppy.
yes but they have 4 points and will probably top their group, fans and pundids are never happy with England, but Southgate used no Porky as an excuse, hard to understand why.

It's a poisoned chalice for sure.
Most fans forget that the most important outcome is getting out of the group. They look likely to do this but naturally the hype seems to use the benchmark of Germany which is a bit unfair.
That said .....the players selected did not perform well and looked seriously stifled in their ambitions.

As for the Spain v Italy game. The players seem to spend so much time on the floor it was an awful display of gamesmanship from those committing the frequent fouls to those opting to play act as if every contact was life threatening. :shake:

I don’t know whether the VAR team were from the Premier League but the on field team definitely were. Is there any surprise though that the first major VAR controversy of the European Championships has involved officials from our league? Not for me.

The goal should have stood
