Europe In Out Shake it all about

If true, is this just the start of our race backwards?

(As posted in another thread by @Pride of Lions )

I don’t know the ins and outs of this by any means, but this is just one progressive example where being ruled in part by a greater power is a better thing for us as a country.

Farmers always vote Tory, and so bee killing pesticides are just the start of it. Wait til we start paying for those Range Rovers too, ever seen a poor farmer in the last 20 years?

for a little context -
Emergency Authorisations for the use of neo nics have been used
70 odd times in at least 16 different EU countries since they were banned in 2018.
(in particular for sugarbeet)

A Dutch TV network has filmed border officials confiscating ham sandwiches and other foods from drivers arriving in the Netherlands from the UK, under post-Brexit rules.

"Welcome to the Brexit..."

Most will probably blame overzealous hashed out Dutch officials who hate the British...but:

The UK government has issued guidance to commercial drivers travelling to the EU, warning them to "be aware of additional restrictions to personal imports".

And when was this guidance published after all the Gov planning and what should've been obvious since the vote and all the wibbling about companies knowing what to do for when we left...

....last Friday

Ford Fiesta ST and Puma ST prices rise “due to Brexit”

Ford claims hike is result of increased tariffs on non-EU and UK components under ‘rules of origin’

A high profile “rules of origin” charge by Ford, but this unknown and hidden tax will bite in a number of areas for the average consumer.

Britain doesn't need semi-American Fords. British people can buy British cars like Rolls Royce and McLaren.

Bit extreme. More like F-Pace’s?

All these little things add up, I’ve always thought Brexit will probably end up eventually feeling not that must different to the average person but will have created inconveniencies as the Northern Irish or JLR are finding at the moment, and under the radar, consumers will pay a little more for everything. All these articles we’ll post over the next few months will all add to a cost of living increase for each and every one of us, and that’s a lot of money for some households especially the poorer ones who probably voted leave.

I’m not including the crash of the pound in 2016 where lots of leavers turned into economical experts overnight and claimed the FTSE was flying because of Brexit - well, they were right but not in a good way.

Sorry, that was a bit of an obscure reference. I should have provided the link.

Fish in UK waters 'better and happier' since Brexit happened, claims Jacob Rees-Mogg amid claims the British seafood industry is losing £1million per DAY because of new export red tape

Hahaha. In fairness to him, he's hilarious. He's a despicable character but a hilarious despicable character.

(I was going to use a different word than character which was more accurate but I decided against it)

Yes, just watching Newsnight going on about the devastation the fishing industry is currently facing and was going to quote this vile, evil man.

Ian Paisley of the DUP saying Johnson has looks like he is in real danger to prove to people he is a buffoon and the talk of 'teething problems' and that he 'really isn't in touch and doesn't have his finger on the pulse' For balance, he also says he wants to work with him, he likes the guy etc, but they've been slapped in the face (with a wet kipper to be precise!)
