Some of their one touch passing early on showed real quality

They are top of their league, unbeaten this season until last night

I think we just outworked them and stifled them

In contrast Braga who we are due to play in Europa away are 8th in the Portugese league yet have won all 3 Europa games

Im glad we arent playing Porto home and away as I think they are actually a very good team who just couldnt cope with us last night

Is it just me but with all the managerial changes and new players I have no idea how to judge how good we are exactly...

We seemed to deal with Porto comfortably last night to be honest. The eye test is very good after 1 game with Dyche, but its 1 game.

Their fans have been saying how much physically better we were than them.

I just have no idea what to expect from us as a team.

Middjland have won 3 out of 3 as well to be fair in Europa. Top of the league with Braga.

The good news is Malmo and Utrecht are struggling to get any results in Europa and offer great opportunities for us for easier games on paper

I think with the level of application and back to basics Dyche will demand and quality in the squad we are a top half team at least

In fact top 8 at least

Sunderland, Palace and Spurs are top 8 and we are better than them

And capable of beating any team over 2 legs in Europa

We need a bit of luck though as always each week

I think hard work and application every game can help deliver some luck though

ONE THING WE RELY ON THOUGH IS TOGETHERNESS. WE MUST KEEP THAT TO MAX OUT

I agree, they weren't as good as I was expecting. I was surprised how easily we knocked them off the ball at times.

I always loved Switzerland and had intentions of ending my days there

I’m dismayed by the riots I’ve been seeing in Lausanne, please tell me it’s not decending into the same shitholes the rest of Western Europe has descended into?

It's not.

I have no idea what you're protesting about, but it's a good habit to get into.

We should all protest a lot. Start with the air you breathe. It's your enemy. Protest against it. You know it makes sense.
 

Sums up my feelings about the Dyche appointment. He might not appear to be the Jack of Hearts but he's exactly what we need just now.

You shouldnt be using "Switzerland" and "ending my days there" in the same sentence.

You will have people thinking the family is packing you off to Dignitas

It wasnt what I was on about, I was thinking more drifting off in my sleep in a chalet in Wengen at the age of 99.
