Dier is dire and why are we so slow at moving the ball forward when we have 2 whippets up front? Am liking John Stones more and more, and Alexander-Armstrong looks quality.

This rotation lark may come back to bite us. I really wanted to avoid Colombia but we'll see. At least we now know that the eleven he picked for the first two matches (obviously apart from injuries) is our best eleven, apart from one or two, I can't see many of tonight's team featuring later in the tournament.
Onwards and upwards, we'll just have to trust Southgate has a plan and that this was all part of it.

Lost ,only proves that Belgium have better squad players than us.Not a lot to fear from Columbia going on today's game.

Happy to in the other half of the draw but that only really matters if we get past Columbia.

Its been a good world cup so far. Glad we are still involved.

Yeah, we just have to take what's given to us. I've been surprised by people plotting our route to the quarter finals when, as Southgate says, we haven't won a knockout match since (I think) 2006.
Just hope he sticks with his original eleven with maybe one or two tweaks.
I wouldn't object to Rashford and Rose coming in for Sterling and Young but that main eight or nine out of the eleven has to start IMO.
Still cautiously optimistic but would have preferred Japan.
