End of the Season

If we cannot get matches played (and we should not without supporters) then there is only one fair way to end the season. The Premier league should be extended to 22 teams. The top two as it stands ie each division are promoted without any going down. The top team of each division should be awarded the title. Any other decision will be more unfair than that.

I was discussing the same thing today. The chap said there was a precedent in a European league (he thought German) where they expanded the top league for one season and relegated more teams at the end to restore the status quo.

Well if we did get another crack at it, maybe for some strange reason, the powers that be would buy some more players with more consistent capabilities. I am not knocking the players we do have because, as I have said on many occasion, I think most of the time they play to the best of their ability. Anyway, I can't see the problem with having 22 teams in the Premier league.
