Vital Football Legend
An Irish fast food company has won a case against McDonald's to prevent it trademarking the terms "Big Mac" and "Mc" in some instances in Europe.

The European Union Intellectual Property Office ruled McDonald's had not proven genuine use of "Big Mac" as a burger or restaurant name.

Shame.

Interesting. They trademarked 'snackbox' which is a staple of Supermacs so they obviously went after Supermacs through legal bullying.

I guess this isn't the end. I can't see McDonalds being happy to rename the BigMac.

You get REAL chips at Supermac!

Haven't been to a Supermacs in years, but I do remember the chips being more real than McDonalds.

Speaking of real, my younger sister recently started working as a quality inspector at Dawn Meats, which supplies the meat for the McDonalds burgers across Ireland, the UK and parts of Europe. Surprisingly, the meat in the burgers is the highest quality that goes out to any client.

And all this time I thought they were just grinding up rats.
