Embargo lifted

NEP saying its an agreement between the two parties to release the books.

doesn't mean takeover is close to completion.

that will be Henri gone.

The sticking point was probably the "going concern" problem i.e, someone guaranteeing all the debts. Can't see that being Fawaz again, so hopefully the takeover is nigh.

Surely the embargo had no relevance to our selling of players. It's to stop clubs overspending, not selling and bringing money in, so don't see how that affects the Lansbury situation?

Doesn't mean either way if takeover is completed just that they agreed to send in accounts

I think it's done. They US want to come in on Monday with a new broom. Too close to a game and rowett wants a week. Too many signs now. Loaners back and embargo lifted.

I hope you're right!

The auditors have to sign the accounts off too, which at least means they think we'll survive another year!

Lansbury never wanted drab town like Burnley, Direby and villa will be right up his street night life wise....the fans had a go and he bit..good riddance

It just means someone has agreed to cover the liabilities - could be FaH or JJM- I hope it's the latter.

It has to be Fawaz who has agreed to cover liabilities for those accounts to be signed off

There is no way on earth that the yanks would have guaranteed to cover liabilities of a club they don't yet own!

Accounts for a period when they weren't even involved

Has to be Fawaz

if you were JJM would you guarantee the debts if Fawaz still owned and ran the club?
