Elmore Leonard RIP

One of the most distinctive American voices in police/thriller genre with a real sense of the odd in American society. Best known for 'Get Shorty' and 'Jackie Brown' screenplays, he has written dozens of successful crime/mysteries over the last three decades. Will be missed by us genre obsessives.

Given his heritage in the Irish Channel, he could well be Celtic too!
