Elliot Anderson

Will republish his duel stats when we sell him for big money to make everyone feel a little bit better about losing him

Safe to say as a centre back his duel stats are unacceptable and worst at the club

But he's very pretty on the eye on the ball so defending doesn't matter
Ah, you're referring to the stats that proved that PSG would spend £50m+ and not play him at CB?

Who knows

CBs don't have to head as much in France

And they don't cross the ball much there. Even from corners. May suit him

Anyway dont spoil it. Let me cheer everyone up with his stats IF we sell him

Or if we move his position

Was it a duel when he raced back and cleanly stripped the ball from Antonio's feet when one on one?
Yep he does win some

Not nearly enough for a centre back though

Proper centre backs win vast majority of duels in the air and overall

Murillo is right at the bottom in the air and wins barely half his duels overall

Great footballer but not a centre back

I'm hoping he moves on or moves position with us rather than the defensive weaknesses be exposed again next season

We conceded way too many goals we shouldn't last season

That also included Turner of course

I'm personally hoping we get top dollar and we are forced to change the defence for the better

As you know.

He's not going to grow

It's a results business

We don't get any points for having a centre back who can dribble guys

Apparently CHO has made it clear that he wants to stay at Forest. He likes the club snd is enjoying working for Nuno.

Oh and Burnley are looking to appoint one Scott Parker as their new manager… 😳
Pleased to hear that from CHO & that about Burnley that should screw their chances of coming straight back up

To be fair Scott Parker has a great championship record, he's taken big spending Fulham and Bournemouth up.

Burnley have spent a lot of wedge over the last couple of years so will no doubt take them straight back up too
And straight back down if he hasn’t already been sacked…

“It was my opinion, because I had the dream of playing in the Premier League and I had that thought. I said: ‘I’ll go to Nottingham Forest, have a good year and then go to a big club.’ I had this in my head,” Murillo explained.

dont feel bad,he obviously won't :)

most of the goals conceded last season were through lack of organisation as opposed to individual issues. tightened up a lot the last month or so... after we got rid of the free kick coach lol looking for weaknesses in a blatantly world class player is for he fine liness between 60 orr 70m quid not questioning whether hes good enough for a bottom 5 club lol

The stats are meaningless drivel.

The only thing they prove is the fact that there is absolutely no context to them.

You have multiple dependent and independent variables to start with, and they have clearly not been taken into account.

How many of those stats show that he was out of position covering for a colleague, for example?

I am afraid they are not really statistics, they are just a bunch of numbers.

Yes all the times Murillo was beaten in the air or on the ground it was someone else's fault

Yet we never seem to give our other defenders that grace?

We can 100 per cent get better more effective centre backs for a fraction of thr cost being discussed about Murillo

Someone dribbling from the back may suit other teams.

We don't need that. We have plenty more attacking options than Murillo

We very clearly need a stronger defence

I would not disagree with some of that, but the fact remains that the stats are a pile of meaningless shite
