EFL Highlights moving to Quest

Sky Sports do a better round-up show, which just rattles through the goals.

I tend to record the EFL shows, like I do MOTD, and watch them back, skipping the talking.

Still got Colin Murray fronting it though. More Forest Green fawning :shake:

Colin Murray's usually a good host but even he's not great on the Channel 5 show, albeit better than the previous co-hosts.

Very rarely watch the highlight shows, usually catch the goals when either Sky puts them on their website or when the club puts them up on their YouTube channel.

I think they need to consider what time they put this on. C5's 9pm is an odd time so either go earlier such as 630/7pm appreciating this won't be great for those attending matches or go later like the Beeb used to do after Match of the Day. I often caught this on the BBC but honestly haven't bothered once since C5 have had it. Helps that footage is uploaded yo youtube the following day

What a terrible opening show that turned out to be, just like when it initially moved to C5.

2 games in the opening 30 minutes and picture quality horrendous.

Then, to cap it off, the Sky Sports version of the show has David Prutton one, so I gave that one a miss, too.

Not the best of starts with the picture breaking up, the set was a bit too red for my liking, but the pundit ? did know his stuff about lower League football which made a change.

Colin Murray claimed it was orange (no good asking me I'm colour blind but I thought it was red too)
Basically the C5 show transferred to quest. Its in HD on freesat channel 167.

They had 61 minutes on the Championship, 13 minutes on League One and 11 minutes on League Two. The highlights shown of the main Championship games were too long - there was too much filler in there.

Like others, I record the programme and watch just the bits I am interested in.
