how many shares are there altogether or is just ad infinitum, I maybe misreading this but they could all do it and then dump the rags with the debt and millions of shareholders whose £10 a throw share may end up 10p a share
 
I'm presuming that they're non voting shares, so shouldn't make any effective difference to the current situation.
The buyers will just be lining the pockets of one of the Glazer family it seems. :thinking:
 
Yes, these are equity only shares - the Glazers retain the
B shares and therefore the right to vote on decisions affecting the club

This is just about one of the leeches cashing in
 
They are non-voting, non-dividend shares. It's just a cash grab trying to feed off the fans who don't know any better and buy into the belief that they have 650 million fans.
 
That's an excellent question, BD. When they first floated on the NYSE they were heavily criticized for saying they were a "new company" and hence didn't need to pay taxes on it. And it's based in the Cayman Islands, so no income tax on that either for both the US and UK. It's 100% a scam.
