Dyche out

Vital Champions League
Couldn’t give a shit about two good wins against Spurs and Liverpool ages ago, we’re absolutely awful every game. Yes players should take some responsibility but they’re devoid of any confidence or ideas. They’re NOT coached..

We cannot score a goal - we simply don’t score in open play, or shoot in open play… or create in open play. I despise watching us and I have zero confidence that this utter clown of a manager has a clue how to turn this around.

Yes, 4 managers in a season is bad blah blah but how could it possibly be worse than watching this shite every week?

For those that wouldn’t sack him, what are you expecting to happen or change? This is Chris Hughton all over again

Nottingham Forest midfielder Ryan Yates, speaking to TNT Sports: "Very disappointing. I feel we controlled most parts of the game.

"A very good team away from home. I thought we stifled them in the first half. We had opportunities to make a breakthrough, we don't. Then, I unfortunately make a mistake at the other end. Then we could never get a foothold in the game after that.

"When you get handed an opportunity and you don't take it, you get punished. I have to hold my hands up. I should have done better.

"We are frustrated as I think we have done enough to win the game. Frustrating when results don't go your way. We have missed an opportunity and that's why we're frustrated - not that we were terrible on the night.

"Fine margins. We have to keep working and put that right. We are still in a solid position in the competition. No negativity in the dressing room, that's for sure."

On what Forest need to do differently in the upcoming games: "Me not scoring an own goal for starters. I think we have progressed a lot under Dyche."

Two dreadful interviews from both Yates and Dyche. They clearly think it’s not too bad. Yates mentioning fine margins and no negativity in the dressing room and Dyche as usual playing it down.

The culture is awful
What did Dyche say?

What did Dyche say?
Nottingham Forest boss Sean Dyche, speaking to TNT Sports: "Very frustrating. One minute of madness. A game we never looked in trouble. Never dominated as much as we liked.

"We are playing, we don't have a recognised centre-forward and that can make it tricky. The reaction was nowhere good enough for a minute or so. We lost the game to a really poor goal."

On the reaction to the goal: "You see it happen, they get a lift, the crowd go mad. We knock off for a minute, go chasing the ball, they get lucky with a bobble into the box and that can happen. Then a unfortunate situation for Yatesy [Ryan Yates]. Very frustrated.""I think the tempo of the game - we got sucked into playing slow. Didn't really affect the backline as many times as we hoped. We got the penalty, and it is one of those games if you seal that."

On Dan Ndoye's penalty shout: "We get another penalty shout, it is a maybe. I have seen them given, but it goes against us. It is frustrating from there on in if I am honest."

More from Nottingham Forest boss Sean Dyche, speaking to TNT Sports: "There is effort here, that killer edge, we want more of that. Of course, we are in that weird situation where we have to protect players who playing a lot of football.

"We want to do well in this competition, we still do, of course.

"It is a fine line - it is a juggling act. You want to give everyone a chance to showcase themselves.

"They are working ever so hard in training. To come here, we suspect to step on and that is the kind of thing we are waiting for, that feeling to take the game on, and it never really occurred.

"You might come away with a draw, but you shouldn't really lose that game.

"One minute of madness cost us the game. I don't think they hardly had a real chance, then we had a goalmouth scramble and even that can't go in."

On bringing reinforcements in: "We are certainly working on it. The club is aware. They can see the situation."

I don’t really give a shit what people think about having 4 managers in a season. If it is the right thing to do you have to do it.

I really wanted it to work for Dyche but the worry is you just can’t see how it gets better. It is getting worse, and combined with unfathomable decisions to let Kali go so early or at all.

Maybe it is time for the fella from Brazil

Can’t we find someone that isn’t as careless as Ange but not so lifeless as dyches football

As per an above post, our players look like there is now plan or tactics in attack

Nah I’d say more it’s to appease the press… if they are talking like that on the changing room then that’s a huge part of the problem

Nope.
Stop trying to make out that because Dyche is shit, that somehow means Ange wasn't the worst manager in our history, because he was, still is and will remain that way.
I said performances. Results wise, Ange was objectively worse. Performance wise, that was worse than anything Ange served up. And It's not like it's the first time.
Nobody would mind too much if we were playing badly, and scrapped a 1-0 win, but we aren't. We have the worst of both worlds here.

The players look totally devoid of confidence, don't appear to (like all of us) know what the plan to score a goal actually is.

Attacking wise, I would agree, but overall I can't fucking stand watching teams who can't defend. I was a defender. It makes me sick, especially at the top level.

Personal preference on that I suppose.

Ange's defence set-up was awful, it was amateur and embarrassing.

Remember Ange was also without Murillo for most games and Aina for all of them, which has some mitigation, because as we know Morato is only ever 10 minutes away from a calamity. He played Cunha in some, tried wingbacks and flat back 4. Nothing worked.

What we are seeing from Dyche is turgid, dogmatic, one dimensional insistence in not changing anything, unless injuries force his hand.

Clueless, dull, and dangerous to our league status.
