Very true and were my initial thoughts, different now as Nathan's case shows and the help he got.

One of the problems is that people of my generation were brought up to just get on with it. Sometimes you can't do that but feel unable to ask for help. That must be compounded in a macho business like football.

Usually it is hindsight that tells you you were suffering from mental health problems after the fact. During you are generally in denial until you hit crisis.
