Dr Shipman vs Two Tier Kier

Priti Patel, Michael Gove, Gavin Williamson, Liz Truss, Boris Johnson and Robert Jenrick have something in common. They all were found to have breached the ministerial code but didn’t resign.

Both stories in Telegraph today.
Can't they make their mind up?

Ah, but be fair ... that's only because none of them had integrity.
😉

Yes, and they and their party were swept away. Why are you obsessed with yesterday's news when today's news is everywhere ?

In other news a Labour Council leader has had to stand down after calling grooming gangs victims white trash. What lovely people represent them.

People......WBL, DatM, Monday, Rueben, MiW & anyone else reading this post.....it doesn't matter the party, the person, the politicians, they're ALL as bad as each other, regardless of party, regardless of what they say.....they're only in it for themselves whilst being paid very handsomely, regardless of their backhand payments / referrals / or as us normal folks would say bribes...they don't give a flying fig what we think or say until they're caught with their grubby little fingers in the till or caught out by their lies a la Rayner (labour)/Hancock ( Tory) / Garage (Reform)/....copy, paste repeat for any party you care to mention

I have to disagree Jock. Maybe I have too rose-tinted a view of my fellow homo sapiens, but I can't believe that ALL of them are so self focussed. Lots, probably. Most, maybe. But all? ... maybe I'm just too naive.

Just all the Tories maybe ?

Seriously though doesn't politics leave you sick to the stomach ? Im not a Labour supporter now but I would have voted for Roger Stott if he was still alive.

I'm fairly sure I've previously listed numerous Tories who.i think are decent politicians ... and people.

You're right. Politics does make me sick ... mostly when the politicians (who I thought better of) let me/us down.

I recall a night mate, much like this when I'd been out and got in. I'd just got married in 83 and Roger was my MP then but I had a bee in my bonnet about summat and wrote him a drunken load of bollocks of which I cant remember what the jist was. You know what he must have read it and replied to the " interesting subject matter " as he called it and signed it. Some didn't care for him but he was right up my strasa. I have no political home at the moment but would vote for him now.

You know what Moonay, you're right, there are probably some 'good uns' but like panning for gold, you have to sift through a load of shite to get the odd golden nugget 😉

OK, I take this on board, but why ignore precedent.
Precedent is important and frequently cited by those using ttk as shorthand for their discontent.

Looking towards the future, Go Nads (Dorries)

Yes power corrupts.

That doesn't explain the 'Emperor's New Clothes' effect of Farridge.
You include Farridge in your list above, yet at least 3 on here (the likes) appear to see Nige as the solution to all our ills. Yet he would appear to be one of the biggest grifters.

Maybe Reform will professionalise now they have Tories in their ranks. (Including Nige in the past)

Of course there are honourable Tories. Many were the ones who got kicked out of the party by Boris.
There is a guy who is shadow something in the treasury who seems good. The trouble is even the good ones have to follow their party whip (in every party).
