Marcus Rashford is to be awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Manchester for his work in regard of child poverty. I know he has done sterling work in highlighting this issue.........but this is a surprise.

Yes, he has, but then most top-flight footballers do wonderful work in raising awareness and much-needed funds for those very much less fortunate than themselves.
However, most do it quietly and without fanfare.
Methinks Manchester Uni may well have an abundance of rags in their hierarchy.
