This week 30 years ago DEANO & AGANA both scored 3 v Chester in a 6-1 win.We were promoted at the end of that season. Be gr8 for someone to get 3 for us 2moz.UTCB

If only we still had Deane and Agana, the best strike partnership I have ever seen at BDTBL.

Strange game think we'd just been beaten away and crowd was low. Deane scored his three first then Agana followed suit. Chester were above us in the table at the time. This result gave us lift off under Bassett and we never looked back.

Agree BFL they were a great partnership but so were Jones and Birchenall but the Board soon put paid to that.

50 years ago today the late gr8 DAVE POWELL med his debut for THE MIGHTY BLADES,i rated him very highly and thought he did alot of coverin for Big Eddie. The score was a 1-1 draw v Hull accordin to a poster on S2. UTCB

Deano and Jock played well together, considering Jock was a left winger he did a great job partnering Deano when TA was injured.

Deano was bought for the future,Agana`s partner was meant to be Francis Joseph,a pitbull of a forward,but he got injured,Deano seized his chance,and the rest etc etc
