The frustrating thing is that many have complained to the club and to Luke (marcomms) on here, but nothing has seemingly been done.

And no doubt they will then wonder why the Imps+ subscriptions end up being lower this season than last.

Luke posted earlier in the week that this season's audio service would be announced "soon", once some "engineering issues" are resolved.

Admittedly now only a week from the first competitive game.

Considering we had so many triallists it was an encouraging performance, particularly as the best performers were our own players plus the triallist we are most likely to sign. Coubis looks the part with potential to become a fans’ favourite. Our defence looked very solid and Doncaster never looked likely to score.

Luke's made a rod off his own back really because people now expect answers to everything (not aimed at Mike, it's a general comment). There just seems to be question after question now and using it as a Q&A session.

In trying to be helpful with the odd thing, he's probably regretting it.

Correct, Chesterimp, I've spent a large part of the past fortnight trying to bang heads together in various engineering departments.

I can assure Mike that finding a solution for the audio and visual feeds has been a top priority and, barring some crossing of i's and dotting t's, is sorted.

Luke, honestly, you don't need to be spending your weekend answering questions on here or justifying what's happening in the background.

I'm sure the openness and replies are appreciated, though.

I think the majority of us appreciate the candour of Luke's responses on this site and recognise how unique this is, another part of what makes this club special.

There's always some with a misplaced sense of entitlement who expect a hotline to God, but hopefully Luke sees through those!
