I remember reading that they were going to appoint him sometime last month. I suspect we are in a similar situation, if it’s as close as outlets were saying we should hear something soon.

We’ve very likely already done all of our work on potential targets considering we now have a defined playing style to aim for. Hopefully it shouldn’t negatively impact us if we have to wait a bit longer.

BBC sport said it was imminent almost a month ago surely it would have been announced by now. Can only suspect its fallen through or we've moved on to somebody else.

It might just be that it’s taking a bit of time. Bristol have been linked to Ellis for a while but it has only just been announced. We don’t know who they’re after and what the negotiations have been like. I’d be surprised if it goes as far as June.

I’m always preaching patience but it does seem like there has been a hold up. I think most of our targets will have already been sourced but it surely hurts us if it goes on and on into the summer.
 
Sounds to me like Gorringe wants to crack on and do it himself. He's all about saving money and cutting expenses out all over.

Doesn’t sound great if the club hierarchy want a new DOF and Gorringe doesn’t.

Feel like we need a DOF personally, it’s how all well run clubs do things now.

I didn't know who he was till yesterday to be honest but hopefully he's up to it because by the sounds of it he'll have alot to do with no dof imminent.

Whats worrying is that the guy was already at the club, but they obviously don't think he is up to the job as he'd have been given the job as soon as Worth left
