On the subject of knowing your future, my wife and some of her friends had been visiting a local medium. I don't believe in it but they do. Just after Christmas he went on a holiday, had a heart attack and died.

If he could see into the future why couldn't he see what was about to happen and book himself into a hospital knowing he was going to have a heart attack.

My wife says I'm being cruel, am I?

If he was a medium, he's supposed to be saying what someone else is telling him. Obviously, they told him nothing about the heart attack.
 
It's like the old one, if you can see into the future why aren't clairvoyants rich off the lottery!
 
Hmm as a Christian I am not supposed to go near these things. Pre Christian I did.

Paper/general horoscopes complete load of twaddle. Meant for light hearted entertainment value. Always thought that.

Tarot and mediums etc: thoughts on pre Christian and post Christian. Scary as it can be messing with the dark side so have to be careful.

Even The Bible touches on this because of the dark side.

Do I believe mediums/ Tarot card readers have powers. Some do and some are con merchants.

Astrology: when done properly by date, time and place of birth has merit.

Very good for getting an overbally personality guide/s which can be useful. Are they any good at forecasting the future?

The word forecast sums it up? They give you an overall forecast, and it is up to you how you choose to use it.

Again cowboys in Astrology as well as professionals.

If I was to have any reading done still it would be Astrology only and there is only 1 astrologist I would use who I used to pre Christian days.

Astrology is a grey area of Christianity due to the 3 wise men who studied the stars and used the alignments to head for the stable.

The only astrologer I would use who works to date, time, place etc is a practicing Christian who has struggled with what he does because of all the differing opinions and people saying how he must run his life.

Do I believe in this stuff: yes when done properly. It has to be done properly though as it can be dangerous

The stuff in the papers, the medium/gypsy be the seaside have to be taken lightheartedly though

Never mess with a ouji board either. Damn right dangerous
