Do you use deodorants, perfumes, aftershaves?

Im going through a spell of not using any deodorants - maybe its a mid life crisis thing?

I decided that I didnt like the idea of spraying chemicals under my arms and onto my chest. The thought of these chemicals lingering on my body all day, soaking into my skin kinda turned me off the idea of using them. Suffice to say, that now by the end of the day my T-Shirt stinks of BO. Obviously the washing pile is growing and my trips into the shower more frequent.

Just been reading a article on BO.

Its remarkable how the body works and the importance of sweat. Not only is it used to cool the body(naturally), the smell released is an attractant. It will exert a positive effect on your wife's/girlfriend's mood, cognition and heightens sympathetic nervous system arousal. = so forget Lynx, a happy wife is one with a smelly fella.

Yes I do. I wouldn't go without them.

Just as an after thought/info really you can buy deodorants alcohol free. Some people (not me) drinking went so far that when they into recovery (if they do) they can't use alcohol even in products like this as they react to them and it makes them ill. They poison themselves.

GT a happy wife is 1 with a smelly fella and also a wife with no sense of smell. I couldn't' deal with the smell. Even though I have low sense of smell when it comes to anything like that it is heightened to the other extreme.

Typical of me. Have to do extremes

no excuse for poor hygeine although we all whiff occassionally. i wont leave the house without some splash on. and i keep an aftershave i the car to freshenn up. go the fragrance shop... loads of great deals

Of course I use deodorants. However, I rarely use aftershaves these days. I don't use them daily, I only have a splash of aftershave if I'm going somewhere special or important.

The talk of it being an attractant is of fresh sweat. They also think we kept hair under arms as a way to catch/keep scent.

But not stale sweat.

Personal hygiene, nice clean clothes, etc, most important to me. Even at my worst after ops I'd never go out not dressed 'properly' and fresh. Just once I went out in joggers and a house tshirt, felt appalled at myself, never again.

I don't use anti perspirant, I think it clogs up the pours, but do use deodorant and yes, I like different eau de toilettes and have a range!!

I only use right guard roll on anti persperant snsitive, it doesn't sting and stays fresh for all day, i don't use deoderants no more as it stings me eye with me contact lense in,

I get up and work out, I'm then in the gym so when not needed I jump on the spinner, so I spend most of my day sweating, I wouldn't use clogging agents, they are really not good for you, my partner still thinks I smell nice at the end of the day, that may be down to diet, which does make a huge difference to the smell of your sweat.

On the rare occasion that I do go out I may splash it on all over as recommended by our Henry.
