Do The Aston Villa Fans Have Faith In This Season Or Not?

The next 8 days are Vital 9 points up for grabs, 2 very winnable and Wolves who have won just 4 more games than Villa this season....

9 points in 8 days and its a marker in the table, Boro and Fulham hitting for just at the right time.... Can not afford to slip up and by the same token we still have to play Cardiff and it home. The rest of the fixtures both Home and Away are all fucking winnable.

All our remaining games are winnable......

Well as your prediction of relegation for this season has bitten the dust 1958, I will take comfort in your forecast for next season !!!!

We are entering the business end of the season, the dirty dozen.
Time for our experience and class to kick in .
Not much margin for error now .

We have to go up this season otherwise our finances will ensure we become the next Sheff Weds or Leeds.

Don't see this. I worry the rebuild in the PL will prove too much - all three promoted teams are struggling. I have a lot of faith in the youngsters coming through and believe that given the opportunity they will come good.

I think going up is the best option all round, but don't want us to spunk a load of money on dross ala Tesco Bags.

Management have said they have made contingencies. I kinda trust them as they haven't done too much wrong so far.

Oh it will massively hit the club if we don't go up. Parachute money is minimum, we'd not be keeping the loan signings, we'd not be renewing contracts and we'd have to play some more of the youth. We'd be cutting our cloth accordingly and the cloth would be very different.

I don't do faith but I do hope we go up Fulham looked nailed on at the moment but perhaps they will falter once the pressure is on , when their fans start to believe .

It's easy until you get in the top 6 then you can only blow it and the pressure is on from the media and the fans.

Villa have that pressure from August , we've seen them all start to feel the pressure except Wolves but their turn will come I'm sure of it

We can do it. Think it'll go down to the wire between us and Fulham with us sneaking second place. Derby are doing their usual bottling job and feel that Cardiff will finally run out of steam. Mind you I've been saying that for the last three months and yet they keep getting results.
I'm loving this. Looking forward to every game......so much more enjoyable than the last few years of dross in the Prem!

Just nice to be involved and playing for something positive, as opposed to counting points to be safe from relegation isn't it Langoe?!

Agree, can't wait for every game.

Yes I am enjoying this immensely.

Can't wait for these 12 games with all the twist and turns they will bring.

We will definitely get into the play offs and from there anything can happen. The best way to do it would be automatic promotion which is a possibility but we have to be near faultless for the rest of the season

We would be back to the bad times of the lerner days and will be looking at the clubs coming down spending like we used to,

Doubt if Wolves are going to blow it, so it's most likely down to us, Cardiff or Fulham. Too close to call. All of us are capable of dropping some points and all of us probably will. Cardiff have an advantage because they currently have a points advantage, likewise we have an advantage over Fulham. Those may count at the end of the day. But the outcome is unpredictable.

If we don't go up then it's Plan B. Thing is, I'm reasonably confident there is a Plan B. There will be changes, but the critical thing is that the financial discipline we've been showing will be feeding through the system. We can wear it. Gabby's wages off the books, and other things like that, will help.

It will be a challenge but maybe an opportunity as well. Johnstone will go but maybe Steer will step up. We will rely on young players more (at least I hope we do) which will probably be a good thing. It needn't be a disaster.

If we beat Cardiff at home then we should overcome the 1 point deficit.

Fulham are the big danger.
