The Hamsters would often do the local circuit. I remember at the Woodlands Tavern , the lead guitarist would climb on the tables outside !
A cordless guitar was pretty cool back then , or maybe it should be chord-less lol

Before Dirty Bertie, Barry Archer (elec. guitar) was in a great band , called Salvo, they went thru' a few personnel changes from the original line-up ( which consisted of Barry A. - guitar, Adrian Brooker - vocals, Harry Hancock -drums, Paul Adams- bass); some of the "newer" members, whom I can remember, included the wonderful Keith Dallison - vocals & harmonica) and Malcolm Bernard - sax.

I have a vague recollection of Dirty Bertie playing at Priestfield once, at half-time, many moons ago, or was it my imagination?
